Caregiver Mentor- $20/Hour Starting

Touching Hearts at Home- Omaha is seeking a caregiver mentor to work a hybrid role that includes working from the office and in the field. We are looking for someone who has experience with caregiving and light office work. This role is either Sunday through Thursday:

 

  • providing crucial support to ensure our clients have the care they need if their regularly scheduled caregiver is sick or unavailable, and ensures new clients are able to get care started without delay
  • assisting with on-the-job training and peer mentoring and development of new members of our care team
  • assisting with scheduling caregiving staff
  • providing office support to your assigned caregivers

 

The Caregiver Mentor must be available at anytime during your 12-hour shift to provide needed care and support. This position is scheduled  40 hours per week.

No certification is required. Job requirements include:

  • Personal or professional experience that shows a heart for senior care
  • A valid driver's license
  • At least 19 years old
  • The ability to provide a reliable, insured vehicle to use on the client's behalf for all scheduled shifts and to travel within the Omaha Metro for any scheduled shifts
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
  • Daily access to email, the internet, and a mobile phone
