Cafe/Pub Coordinator

Touchmark on West Prospect is looking for caring, outgoing people to join our Dining Services team as a Cafe/Pub Coordinator! If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to leverage your food service and customer service experience into a creative role with growth potential, this is the role for you!  As a Cafe/Pub Coordinator with our Food and Beverage team, you will enrich lives every day by creating a friendly and inviting dining experience for Touchmark residents and guests. Your duties will include such tasks as greeting residents by name, handling inventory, developing specials and menu items, overseeing a small team, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellence in customer service. FT: 7:30-4pm, M-F with some rotating weekends. Some evening availability may be required.  We will provide you with: · Thorough training to be successful · Flexibility to accommodate your schedule · An uplifting work environment · A place to grow and learn Position Responsibilities: including but not limited to the following:Be well versed with personnel, volunteer policies, resident Rules & Regulations and Food and Health Regulations;Socialize with Residents, their families, and general public;Cash handling and various transaction methodsPrepare high quality food and drink items for residents, guests, and team members; Maintain hand and working surface sanitation at all times, according to specifications given; Maintain a safe environment, to include keeping floor dry and free of debris;Development of unique menu items and specialsDeveloping new procedures as new tasks arise.Clean and sanitize tables;Be aware of all changes in equipment performance and the need for supplies;Will maintain inventory counts and order supplies as needed.Attend mandatory meetings of Dining Services Department and all-community meetings;Schedule and supervisory duties with a small teamPerform all other duties, as requested by supervisor, with a positive attitude.Must be 18 years old or over.Bistro/Pub candidates must be willing to obtain a Liquor Serving License in the Village of Fox Crossing.
