Group Fitness Instructor

Touchmark on Saddle Drive is currently seeking an individual who specializes in group exercise instruction – such as yoga and/or tai chi to join our team as a Group Exercise Instructor In this role, you will help plan, design, and lead group exercise classes for aging adults at varying levels of physical ability in our community..     Ideal candidates will have: Nationally recognized group fitness certification (for format teaching) Nationally recognized AED/CPR and First Aid certification; Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working with the mature population; Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience teaching group exercise classes. Experience instructing group exercise classes, including strength/balance/stretching/yoga - both standing and chair formats  Experience promoting  group fitness classes A positive, upbeat, and energetic approach to health, wellness, teamwork, and hospitality  Experience working with aging adults and/or special fitness populations; experience in a retirement community setting is a plus   Residents enjoy a wide range of activities and classes that can positively affect age-related conditions and encourage lifelong health and wellness.  All programs are tailored to individual levels of ability, skill, and personal fitness goals.
