Touchmark at Harwood Groves is looking for a Work Order Specialist! The primary purpose of this position is to administer the work order process from initial contact through completion, interacting with residents, staff, and vendors. The person will have superior hospitality practices that support our objective of enriching lives!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties, and skills may be required and assigned.
Receives organizes and prioritizes all work orders within the work order management software.
Performs the prioritized work order tasks as needed by residents, staff, or external customers.
Ensures completion of appropriate work order documentation.
Coordinates and communicates with residents regarding services including; scheduled, unique, and follow-ups, according to Touchmark procedures. Monitors completion time of outstanding work orders
On-Call rotation after a training period. Must live within ten minutes of the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Limited weekend work hours on a rotation.
Typical work hours - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday

Education and/or Experience
A High School Diploma or GED with one year of experience working in the hospitality profession is preferred but will train if necessary for the right person.
This position requires regular driving for business purposes. The person must possess a valid driver’s license and be insured to operate a company motor vehicle.
Technical Skills
The employee should have a solid mechanical aptitude with moderate knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and wall repair. The person must have average computer skills to perform this job successfully. Must have the ability to learn other computer software programs as required.
