Maintenance Technician
Pay Range: $27.00-$31.00 an hour
Schedule: Weekdays, 30 hours per week
Location: Minneapolis (Seward)
Program Location: Primarily in Hennepin County
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Develop a tracking system to track work orders, preventative maintenance, and general repairs
- Develop a preventative maintenance schedule
- Inspect grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical, fixtures, appliances and other equipment
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe usage
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and complete general repairs
- Request quotes and coordinate larger repairs with third party vendors
- Move office equipment, office furniture, and household furniture
- Assist with lawn care and snow removal
- Track mileage and maintain receipts to submit for expense reports
- Communicate with program contacts regarding your schedule and work orders
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining facilities and using hand tools required
- Experience working with a tracking system for work orders required
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record, a current driver’s license, and auto insurance required
- Ability to pass a background study through Minnesota Department of Human Services required
- Experience working in facilities supporting vulnerable adults preferred
