Program Director / Mental Health Professional - Portland Place
Pay Range: $80,000 to $105,000
Location: Bloomington, MN
Schedule: Primarily Weekdays
The Program Director will oversee Residential Treatment Services for Portland Place.
Program Director Responsibilities:
- Provides general oversight of clinical programming at Portland Place.
- Develops and maintains policies and procedures in collaboration with the Senior Director and other Program Directors.
- Develops and monitors a program financials and budget in collaboration with the Senior Director and CFO.
- Stays current on licensing requirements (245i) and ensures program remains in compliance.
- Advises staff and leaders in responding to crisis situations and utilizing behavioral intervention strategies.
- Directly supervises the Clinical Supervisor and Program Supervisor and indirectly supervises program staff.
- Collaborates with Nursing Manager in ensuring licensed nurses and unlicensed staff are administrating medications following procedures.
- Collaborates with the Admissions Supervisor and Clinical Supervisor regarding admissions and maintaining utilization.
- Collaborates with the Nutrition Services Supervisor and Nutrition Services Manager.
- Participates in work groups and agency committees focused on staff engagement, development, and clinical initiatives.
- Attends leadership meetings with leaders from Residential Treatment Services and other agency leaders.
- Supports and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
- Develops external relationships with community partners and presents at community meetings.
Program Director Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the state of Minnesota.
- Two to five years of clinical leadership experience required.
- Experience working in a matrix-leadership structure preferred.
- Experience supporting adults with mental illness, substance use, and/or co-occurring disorders required.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and acceptable vehicle insurance required.
- Experience working with the community partners preferred.
