Responsibilities and Skills
- Working Front of the House
- Pack bread into packaging and display them
- Help customers with bread/cake selection
- Take phone calls for store information or cake reservations
- Strive in fast-paced production environment and works efficiently to meet the speed of service deadlines.
- Highest standards and consistency in food preparation, sanitation and safety.
- Able to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
- Show respects for the equipment and facilities by adhering to cleaning and proper operations.
- Provide ultimate hospitality and make sure guests have everything they need to enjoy their visit and the bakery is fully stocked and cleaned.
- Experienced as a barista in a fast-paced café highly preferred, but not required
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment.
- Cleaning service and seating areas and bathrooms.
- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
- Periodic restocking of merchandise, pastries, etc.
- Processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions.
