Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time entry-level Engineering Associate in our Denver, CO office. As an Engineering Associate, you will serve as an integral member of our engineering team. Summary
Position requires knowledge of civil design and engineering techniques. This job entails planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. The ideal candidate will devise new approaches to problems, prepare or modify drawings, monitor work compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and TEP standards.
Salary Range:
$58,000.00 to $65,000.00 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.

Minimum Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering based on discipline performed
- Preferred Certification: Engineering Intern
- CAD/drafting experience is required
- Detail oriented with the ability to balance project priorities to ensure successful completion
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to multi-task and work on different projects simultaneously
- Strong technical, written, and oral communications skills
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to work on multiple discipline projects within the telecommunication, residential, commercial or light/heavy civil fields is preferred
- AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT experience is preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Functions
- Design civil solutions to unique obstacles on a site which may include stormwater control, access road grading, retaining wall design, electrical one line diagrams, and other basic civil engineering items
- Devise new approaches to problems and prepare or modify drawings, monitor work compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and TEP standards
- Prepare and develop detailed AutoCAD drawings from GIS and/or site survey
- Prepare detailed construction drawings on collocation and raw land sites
- Prepare reports related to site visits, tower mappings and/or inspections
- Work with applicable jurisdictions to comply with permitting and zoning requirements
- Opportunity to assist with client interaction to include correspondence with clients, problem resolution, and final deliverables to meet required deadlines
- Opportunity to travel to project locations in state and/or out of state for site visits, to confirm current as-built conditions and facility layout
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may have the opportunity to visit site locations (both on the ground and on building rooftops),and be required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, take field measurements, reach and raise items above the head, and lift weight up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and field environment, with remote work opportunities. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
