Responsibilities
Assists the Recreation Therapist in conducting an activity program to meet the current needs of the residents. The Activity Aide is responsible to the Recreation Therapy/Activity Director. Supervision is provided by the Director of the Transitional Care Center. Engage with patients and provide group and individual activities with patients, assist with making the activity calendar, monthly newsletter, activities for patients with staggered coverage.
Flexible shifts, could be:
2 (8 hr) and 1 (4 hr) shift
3 (4 hr) and 1 (8 hr) shift
2 (6 hr) and 1 (8 hr) shift
No evenings, rotating weekend coverage required.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- LTC setting Activity experience preferred but not required
