Tower Investments is looking for a financial analyst to join our Philadelphia, PA office. Tower Investments is a privately owned transformational commercial real estate development company based out of Philadelphia, with over 40 years of experience. The senior financial analyst will report directly to the company’s vice president and be involved in end-to-end real estate transaction management, due diligence, financial reporting and other ad-hoc financial analysis. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, highly organized, diligent, creative, and focused self-starter with a polished professional demeanor.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and manage financial models analyzing both asset specific and portfolio wide analytics and cash-flows
- Assist in debt financing for acquisitions and refinances for existing partnerships
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support for acquisitions, repositions, and dispositions and any additional cash-flow related reporting.
- Act as a finance point-person between Leasing, Property Management, and Accounting to develop and improve upon internal processes and to ensure accurate and timely data.
- Develop and maintain a financial ecosystem across multiple systems
- Review property financials, rent rolls, and other related reports.
- Ability to complete tasks ranging in difficulty with minimal instruction or oversight
- Provide additional analytical support throughout the organization with an emphasis on accuracy and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated, highly detailed, exceptionally organized, diligent, creative, and focused self-starter.
- Must have excellent Excel skills and be strongly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, etc.)
- High level of accuracy, efficiency and great attention to detail
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (Speaking, listening, and writing, which includes spelling and grammar accuracy)
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Polished and professional demeanor
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably Finance/ Economics/ Accounting
- Minimum 1-3 years of analyst experience in Finance or related field
