The Service Porter is responsible for parking customer vehicles, driving customers home and keeping the Service Drive clean and organized. Summary: Enhances the customer's positive service experience by driving them to or picking them up from their home or office while service is being performed on their vehicle.
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
-Install disposable seat covers and floor mats in vehicle interiors being serviced.
-Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, etc.
-Cleans the service and customer areas.
-Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot.-Empties and cleans all trash receptacles.
-Cleans restrooms, lunch rooms and restocks paper supplies as needed.
-Wash all windows, glass doors and panels throughout service area.
-Run miscellaneous errands for the store.
-Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
