Auto Service Advisor

We have been in business for over 30 years, we are a family owned and operated business that truly values our employees. We are currently looking to hire an Auto Service Advisor and are willing to invest in the right candidate!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with customers and provide excellent customer service from intake to release of vehicle, and preform any additional follow up.
• Listen carefully to customer descriptions and assess the vehicle to determine the best repair plan.
• Advise the customer on the auto repairs that you recommend and offer pricing quote.
• Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
• Responsible for working with the Shop Foreman on customers vehicles including but not limited to, parts ordering and job completion times.
• Schedule appointments over the phone.
• Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate.
• Maintain customer records by keeping all files and incoming/return parts organized.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Mitchell 1 software preferred
• Auto Service Advisor experience
• Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions
• Ability to multitask
• Proficient use of computers
• Strong understanding of auto mechanics and the ability to identify appropriate repairs for vehicle problems
• Have a teamwork mindset in the workplace and accept feedback on your work
• Understand company schedules in order to manage time efficiently

Pay $15.00 to $20.00 per hour plus potential commissions
