Job Posting for Closing Officer at Town n' Country Title, LLC
The Closer will perform advanced duties related to all facets of the closing process. The Closer is required to exercise high levels of professionalism, independent judgement, and knowledge necessary to effectively and efficiently handle any situation at the closing table. S/He is responsible for knowing how to process pre and post-closing documents and duties such as preparing Closing Disclosures (CD), disbursement of loan packages, etc. The Closer will work with a diverse group of clients/guests/public in their branch, requiring a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position will work closely with the Branch Manager to assist in all areas of the closing process; both pre-closing and post-closing.
Essential Functions:
General Duties
Professional communication and collaboration with customers/realtors/lenders/legal professionals to obtain all information needed to schedule and facilitate closings.
Review all documents prior to closing for accuracy
Prepare documents and verify information necessary for processing in preparation for closings
Build & foster relationships with current & potential clients to obtain additional title sales
Coordinates with buyer/seller/lender/realtor/legal professional date, time, and location of closing
Facilitate closings with buyers/sellers/lenders/realtors/legal professionals
Copy pertinent documents and distribute to parties present at closing within company and industry guidelines
Disburse checks to parties present at closing
Travel to buyer/seller/lenders/realtors/legal professionals to facilitate closings, when needed
Build and maintain relationships with lenders and realtors to identify future sales opportunities
Process necessary documents and filings, post-closing
Examine title search to determine information needed to correctly and completely produce title commitment for insurance while conforming to all company and underwriter guidelines
Use of standard office equipment; computer, company software, multi-line phone, etc.
Assist in basic office needs; answering telephones, greeting customers/clients, helping Branch Manager in areas needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Minimum 2 years of professional office experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional tasks to ensure customer satisfaction
Ability and willingness to professionally communicate and collaborate with co-workers/customers/realtors/lenders/legal professionals to obtains all needed information to process closing documents
