What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Marshal position at Town of Carrboro, NC?
Performs difficult protective service work planning, organizing, and conducting fire inspections, performing plan reviews, and conducting fire protection system tests, planning, organizing, and conducting prevention activities, developing, and administering division budget, investigating fires to determine origin and cause, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Fire Chief. Divisional supervision is exercised over assigned inspection personnel.
