What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recording Secretary position at Town of Carver?
The Carver Earth Removal Committee is seeking a recording secretary to record the minutes of their meetings. Meetings are typically held once a month the last Wednesday of the month for approximately two hours or less. The rate of pay is as follows: Minimum $75 per meeting which includes two hours of meeting time and one hour for the recording secretary to draft and make amendments to the minutes. In the event the meeting runs longer than two hours, an additional $25 will be paid per hour. Attendance at all scheduled public meetings is required. Proven ability of proficiency in Microsoft Word must be provided. Meetings are currently being held in person at the Carver Town Hall.
