JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Deputy Town Clerk is responsible for preparing vouchers for payment to vendors and will also assist in all other duties that the Town Clerk's office is responsible for.
DUTIES:
- Prepare vouchers. Make sure vouchers have approvals. Input data in computer.
- Prepare Abstracts, present to Town Board, and mail checks to vendors.
- Assist in issuance of dog licenses, conservation licenses, marriage licenses, and death certificates.
- Assist with counter work
- Assist in answering telephone
- Assist in distributing mail
- Assist in filing and typing
