JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Deputy Town Clerk is responsible for preparing vouchers for payment to vendors and will also assist in all other duties that the Town Clerk's office is responsible for.

DUTIES:

  • Prepare vouchers. Make sure vouchers have approvals. Input data in computer.
  • Prepare Abstracts, present to Town Board, and mail checks to vendors.
  • Assist in issuance of dog licenses, conservation licenses, marriage licenses, and death certificates.
  • Assist with counter work
  • Assist in answering telephone
  • Assist in distributing mail
  • Assist in filing and typing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $33,400.00 per year
