Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, the Summer Camp Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and planning of daily activities, field trips and special events for Summer Camp participants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Maintains constant supervision of camp participants and counselors during all camp activities
• Plans special event activities for each one-week session of camp
• Maintains proper records and information pertaining to the camp and submits to the supervisor as required
• Acts as a liaison between parents and camp counselors and between the Aquatics Department and counselors
• Greets camp participants and parents upon arrival and departure; assists camp participants and parents adjust to the camp experience
• Models’ enthusiasm and appropriate behavior at all times; encourages camp participants to fully engage in the camp program
• Monitors the health and safety of camp participants; identifies participants with illnesses, injuries and special needs and immediately notifies the Program Supervisor
• Maintains attendance counts at all camp activities, reports camp participant absences to the Program Coordinator immediately and ensures safety for all camp participants
• Reports rule violations by camp participants and staff to the Program Coordinator
• Works cooperatively with camp counselors and staff; seeks assistance or advice from the Program Coordinator as needed
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
