Job Title: Youth Academy Program Manager (PM)

Scope of Work
Under the direction of the Program Advisor, the Program Manager (PM) will supervisor all academy staff and be responsible for programming of students' grade 4th-12th, and overall operations of the academy. The supervisor will manage up to 12 part-time staff, and volunteers when acceptable. The PM will develop daily curriculum, implement programming, and provide supervision. As the point person of the program, the PM will be tasked with ensuring the program is safe, accessible, and rewarding to all registered program participants (pp). This is a seasonal position with an expectation of working 8-10 weeks during the summer, 8am-3pm, Monday-Thursday. Most Fridays are workdays for PM.

· Implement programming & supervise daily academy activities.
· Delegate responsibilities to Staff & Mentor JM & JMA.
· Record keeping of all academy paperwork and maintain all staff/pp folders.
· Successfully communicate with supervisor, parents, guardians, caretakers, and staff.
· Attend off site field trips to ensure successful outcome & in service opportunities.
· Evaluate all staff Implement and uphold academy safety policies & expectations Inventory all equipment especially at the seasons close. Sustain supply listing. Build and sustain partnerships.
· Collect, Review and authorize all timesheets for payroll.
Requirement of work
· Successful completion of background & Sex Offender check One year of experience working with youth in a camp, classroom, or childcare setting. Strong organization and communication skills, both verbal and written Must be available the entire summer season, 8-10 weeks and must have valid driver’s license, First Aid, CPR certified.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and sometimes more than 20 pounds.
