Camp: June 1, 2024 through August 30, 2024Weekdays and Weekends; Hours varyMust possess a current LGT and CPR certification by May 31, 2024Under the direction and supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, Pool Director, Assistant Pool Director, respectively, is responsible for the safety of patrons in and around the assigned aquatic facility. Work is performed according to the assigned procedure and is reviewed under the general direction of the immediate supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Safeguards and regulates the conduct of patrons to prevent unsafe practices and accidents, is alert to note possible bathers in distress, and avoids conversations with the public or other distracting influences.Strictly enforces policies, rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances governing the conduct of persons using the facility and promptly warns users of existing safety hazards; enforces order and discipline.Effects rescues and performs appropriate follow-up procedures including the use of any available equipment in the performance of first-aid.Participates in the maintenance and preparation of daily records relating to rescues, assists, first-aid, weather conditions, and sanitation as may be required.Assists in the proper maintenance and sanitary operation of the assigned facility.Performs other related duties as deemed necessary by the P.I.C. and the Recreation Supervisor.
