Transit Driver - Galloping Goose

The Galloping Goose is seeking a Transit Driver


Do you have great people skills and a love for Telluride?

Join our outstanding Transit Team and be a Telluride ambassador!

  • Operate Galloping Goose transit buses to ensure safe and reliable public transportation; drive vehicles in all weather conditions
  • Class C Commercial Driver's License with P (passenger) endorsement required, or ability to obtain within training/orientation period
  • Safety sensitive position subject to DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program and Federal Transit Authority (FTA) Safety Regulations
  • PAID commercial driver's license training and certification
  • Excellent driving record and safety focus required
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Year Round or OR Seasonal Position: Minimum $20.70/hour - Maximum $27.95/hour with CDL, based on experience; evening and weekend shifts required.
  • Year Round Position includes Town benefit package, dependent on weekly hours worked
  • Seasonal Position includes $1.00/hour end-of-season BONUS, dependent on season completion
