QUALIFICATIONS And SKILLS NEEDED
- General knowledge of building construction, repair, maintenance, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to use basic work tools and equipment.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous, professional manner with teammates, management, and guests.
- Ability to be punctual and work within a flexible work schedule.
- Have a strong work ethic. Must display a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable Driving Record.
- Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines. Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
- Complete all required company and brand specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
- Follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines and wear uniform and nametag at all times while on shift.
- Under direction of supervisor, install small maintenance items as needed for repair.
- Complete tasks and assignments on daily and preventative Maintenance Checklist.
- Ensure exterior building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, debris, as well as removing weather related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
- Complete Maintenance Request Forms within 24 hours.
- Report all known issues with services, equipment, and property; ensure work orders are in place.
- Update maintenance records on equipment, tools, and mechanical systems on property.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock is secure at all times.
- Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Blood borne Pathogens.
- May be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed such as cross training with Front Desk.
- Comply with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information.

- Ability to walk, stoop, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, carry, lift, climb, and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to tolerate cleaning solutions on a regular basis.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all types of weather and road conditions.
