Retail Associate

We are hiring for all shifts, morning and evening!

POSTION SUMMARY

Store Associates will engage and assist customers in the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and wine tasting experiences. Store Associates will perform duties required to maintain cleanliness, productivity, and meet guest experience expectations to ensure growth of store. Store Associates are responsible for customer transactions. This position will handle cash and other forms of payments. MUST BE 21 TO SERVE ALCOHOL.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Associates duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Store Associates are required to give each customer the best “Tasting Experience” possible by doing the following:

• Greet and explain “Tasting Gallery” to all customers who come to Town Square Olive Oil & Wine
• Use knowledge of wines available to create pairings based off of customer’s preferences for wine tastings
• Answer any questions that customers have about products
• Treat the customer with the upmost respect
• Give each customer adequate attention throughout their time engaging in the “tasting gallery”
• Offer customers with potential flavor and pairing options based on their personal tastes
• Package customer’s items with elegant presentation
• Check out customers with a smile, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Handle customer transactions and cash deposits

Store Associates are responsible for the general up keep of store. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• · Refill Fustis with olive oil or balsamic vinegar as needed
• · Introduce new flavors to show floor
• · Prefill bottles when oils or vinegars are low
• · Empty trash bins as needed
• · Clean counters regularly
• · Clean Fustis regularly
• · Restock empty bottles as needed
• · Restock retail boutique items as needed
• · Wash all returned bottles using the proper technique
• · General cleaning of store
• · Any other duties and tasks deemed appropriate for general upkeep and cleanliness of store

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
