In addition to the above, we look for people that posses the following knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the role. However, we are always willing to train anyone with the right attitude and desire to grow, as you can't teach hospitality.
- 1 years of serving experience, preferably in a high volume or fine dining setting.
- A general understanding of Food, Liquor, Wine and Beer - with a passion to continue a higher level of understanding on all of these subjects.
- Ability to follow and execute steps of service.
- Understanding that we are curators of experiences, not order takers.
- A drive to be organized.
- Ability to maintain menu knowledge - including allergies, restrictions, modifications etc.
- An understanding of anticipatory service.
- A deep understanding of our menu, our execution of service and our standards following training, and the ability and desire to consistently deliver on all of the above.
- Capable to understand and solve problems with a calm and collective demeanor.
