Security Administrator

U.S. Citizenship Required. This position requires a current SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance. Candidate must be SAP and SCI program eligible.

We are looking for an Industrial Security Generalist who is familiar with security practices and procedures in a defense contracting environment, and is interested in learning more. Resourcefulness, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

This candidate will perform document control, personnel security, coordination of classified visits and classified meeting support. This position is in person (not remote) and will provide excellent professional growth opportunities across other facets of Toyon’s expansive and mature industrial security program.

Responsibilities will include:

• Document control functions and access requests
• Personnel security functions to include initiating and reviewing E-App submittals via NBIS
• Administering security onboarding briefings and foreign travel briefings
• Tracking and coordination of security education compliance for the organization
• Supporting DCSA inspections

Requirements

• Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
• Minimum two years’ experience supporting DoD contractor security program requirements
• Able to perform tasks to meet required timelines, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong customer service orientation
• Enjoy working as part of a close-knit, supportive team
• Excellent writing skills
• Proficient with Windows applications
• Organized, productive self-starter with independent time-management ability

The annual pay range for the Security Administrator position is $85,000 to $105,000.

The posted pay range values provide the candidate with guidance on annual base compensation for the position, at a full time level of effort, exclusive of overtime, bonus, and benefits-related compensation, over a range of qualifications that may fit hiring objectives. Toyon Research Corporation will consider the individual candidate’s education, work experience, applicable knowledge, skills and training, among other factors, when preparing an offer of employment.
