What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate - Quality position at Toyota Material Handling?
Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Associate's primary duty is to ensure the timely and accurate assembly of Toyota Material Handling products by inspecting elements to ensure overall quality of new material handling equipment and to support overall manufacturing goals.

Individuals will be required to perform all job duties while walking and/or standing for extended periods of time on hard surfaces. The work for this position is very physical in nature with repetitive tasks. This means it is fast paced; you must be detail oriented. You must be able to stoop, bend, twist, turn, squat, reach, push, pull, grab or grasp. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 44 pounds.
Primary environment for this position is a warehouse/ factory environment. The Toyota shop floor is not climate controlled and internal temperatures will be relative to the external temperatures and temperature forecasts.

Essential Position Duties:
- Ability to read Inspection Standards to insure the quality of the product being inspected.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, ex: battery powered driver, screw driver
- Ability to safely mount and dismount material handling equipment
- Ability to understand and use basic calibrated measuring tools, ex: tape measure, scale, torque controlled wrenches.
- Participate in all required training, including training to learn multiple areas of inspection in the department.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience driving a forklift is preferred
- Previous inspection experience is preferred
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
