Team/division description:

The Circular Economy Business Unit is objective is:

• Minimise use of virgin raw materials in new vehicle by maximising recycled content in design phase.
• Ensure Zero waste in manufacturing
• Maximise End of Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling by reintegration of this recycled material back into Toyota supply chain.

Your responsibilities:

• As Strategy Planner
  • Development and management of the 12 month strategic plan:
    • Market analysis – Identify, summaries and communicate key insights regarding emerging markets and trends relevant to CE focal areas (competitors, technology and business models..)
    • Internal Planning: TME Executive reporting (BR-T CE), CE 5 x Working Groups monthly meeting, Quarterly CE executives advisors, MTPP, MTBP, Hoshin, TMC executives/stakeholder reporting.
    • External Planning : Stakeholder management : conferences, government, agencies, partners and suppliers.   
  • As Communication Specialist
    • Development and management of communication strategy
    • Support management in creation of a compelling storyline to TME and TMC executives,
    • Prepare executive reporting content, focusing on visualisation, robust business logic while ensuring simple and impactful messaging
    • Prepare CE communication content for company events (ABC, Kenshiki, Ichi Ban, QBB)
    • Manage internal communications
    • Planning of internal/external events and public speaking for VP
    • Foster relationships with advocates and key persons internally and externally

Your Profile

• Your profile:

   

  • University degree (Communications/Business)
  • Min 3 years’ experience in the Automotive industry
  • Knowledgeable and passion for: Sustainability and Circular Economy
  • Functional knowledge in R&D, Purchasing, Value Chain or Sales is a plus
  • Content creation experience is essential
  • Strong communications skills to various levels
  • Ability to take complex business/technology topics and convert in simple storyline and visualisation
  • Interests in understanding the relevant processes & activities of other functions linked with CE
  • Doer - makes things happen
  • Can get results when dealing with different company cultures in fast-paced environment where there are challenging deadlines and constant ambiguity
