Who we’re looking for:
The primary responsibility of this role is to align internal financial and IT processes to drive consistent outcomes through a combination of process improvement, business intelligence and low code automation.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Portfolio Enablement Manager, the person in this role will support the Digital Engineering department's objective to drive transformation across Toyota. Responsibilities will include:
- Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for existing portfolio management and project governance processes.
- Maintain process operational conformance to established quality standards, regulatory & contractual requirements that adhere to IT policies and processes.
- Organize and maintain visibility of project status, financial processes, contracts, roadmap/strategy and other organizational processes to management and leadership team.
- Standardize and support monthly governance process including development of business cases with SME and technology managers as well as business product owners and executives to support portfolio management.
- Support coordination of roadmap and strategy development and status visualization to the organization.
- Identify issues and risks and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management with the proposed recommendation.
- Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review.
- Build presentations about the financial standing of the organization, communication regarding various processes including project governance and vendor communication.
- Develop code for automating portfolio management processes, reporting on various projects, financials and process status through dashboards including data analysis and analytics reporting.
- Independently resolve ad hoc requests and work with subject matter experts to identify the next steps and resolve the request with management buy-in.
- Analyze financial data to highlight opportunities, risks and trends in the financial health of the organization.
- Make process design and development recommendations to standardize, improve, or redesign processes to meet business needs.
What you’ll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Operations Management or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Experienced in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Looker).
- Good understanding of business functions, workflow, processes and process mapping.
- Analytical data-driven problem-solving skills.
Added bonus if you have:
- Programming experience, familiar with low-code, no-code tools
- Familiarity with middleware and SQL queries
- Familiarity with scrum and agile framework
- Prior working knowledge of SAP and Ariba
