Who we’re looking for

The primary responsibility of this role is to support quality improvements for Warranty, JD Power, PQS, warranty part investigation, etc. Coordinate field correction activities such as Pre-Delivery Corrections, Dealer Visits. Support special field projects such as Point of Delivery Audits.

Support QIC activities and achieve QIC targets.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the person in this role will support the Quality Assurance objective to support the Quality Assurance Hoshin targets.

What you’ll be doing

• Support field quality report investigation, root cause analysis, countermeasure development, and implementation and verification of effective countermeasure action.
• Support special field projects such as Point of Delivery Audits, and Quality Month.
• Support QIC activities and achieve QIC targets.
• Learn Field Related Quality Systems.
• Warranty and Product Customer Survey reduction focus activity.
• Negotiating with leaders and shops to maintain the integrity of quality Systems.

What you bring

• This position requires the ability to work with multiple departments.
• Ability to understand vehicle structure and component part manufacture/assembly. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
• Data analysis experience.
• Must understand Production and Office environments and be able to efficiently work in both.
• Ability to negotiate with leaders and shops to maintain the integrity of quality systems.
• This position requires driving.  A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position.

Added bonus if you have

• Co-op Automotive or Quality Engineering experience.
• Toyota Business Practice Training.
• Passed TBP panel.
• TMMTX Quality Experience.
