To support our growth, we are looking for a skilled Accounting Assistant to join our global accounting team with the daily tasks.
Working from our office in Hvidovre, you will be part of a strong international accounting team, who is always striving to be one step ahead of the company growth. As our new Accounting Assistant, you will amongst other things be assisting the team in handling the reconciliation of purchase order to received vendor invoices and follow up on missing invoices and unclosed vendor purchase orders.
The opportunity
You will be a key player in the handling of the accounting areas together with the global accounting team and refer to the Global Accounting Manager. Depending on your experience level and competencies you will be able to influence your own area of responsibilities. Your primary task will evolve around:
- Reconciliation of purchase order to received vender invoices.
- Assistance with daily bookkeeping.
- Assistance with payment of invoice.
- Assistance with bank reconciliation.
- Assistance with reconciliation of creditors and suppliers.
- Other relevant ad hoc tasks.
We seek a team member that can identify with the description below
- You have a relevant accounting related education (accounting/HD or similar) supplemented by 3 years of experience from working in an accounting department, being strong in the fundamental principles and puts an honor in the quality of your work.
- As a person, you are structured and would describe yourself as a team player who pays great attention to detail and go about your daily tasks with a thorough, logical, and analytical approach.
- You thrive with having daily bookkeeping tasks as well as loving that not two days are the same.
- You have great Excel skills see it as your greatest daily tool, and you are not new to working in an ERP system.
- You have thorough knowledge of Danish accounting standards, while being willing to learn more about the International once as well.
- You can communicate in English and enjoys working with colleagues worldwide.
