JOB TITLE: File Clerk
SUMMARY: Provides administrative and clerical support to the firm’s attorneys and paralegals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receipt and review of email’s sent to the firm’s service email and identifying record retention of documents.
- Organizing the documents received and saving same to the appropriate client file.
- Scanning and filing/organizing correspondence on the server.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working in an office setting.
· Commitment to excellence and high standards.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
· Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities with enthusiasm.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is a must.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
· Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
