We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and analytical Regional Vice President in Sales with a proven track record of improvements in revenues as well as volumes in hospitality the industry.
As a Regional Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new sales and marketing strategies as well as supervising regional teams. You will be charged with identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
Job Responsibilities
Sales/Marketing:
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Devise sales strategies to meet sales targets. Identify various opportunities to meet targets.
- Work to achieve revenue targets and gain market share: ensuring effective penetration of new high-growth market segments and territories.
- Supervise the regional sales teams.
- Create new sales points and distribution centers.
- Present the company’s sales and marketing performance at various companies and investor meetings.
- Supervise print as well as digital marketing campaigns.
- Conduct in-house seminars and training sessions for the sales team.
- Network at various levels to bring more business to the company.
- Recruit and hire sales staff.
- Brand stewardship in alignment with the CEO, company leadership, research and analytics
- Travel is required for adequate sales efforts, community engagement, as well as for various training and conferences.
Revenue Management
- Support Corporate Director of Revenue Management in development and execution of a strategic pricing plan for all properties.
Business Intelligence
- Dive innovation and research as it pertains to consumer applications and technologies.
- Stay current with trends and new advancements in hospitality related technology (apps, payment systems, CRM, etc.)
Skills Required
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in launching brands.
- Must have highly developed analytical and negotiation skills and
- Adept at establishing and maintaining professional relationships.
- Excellent leadership track record
- Superior communication, interpersonal and customer service acumen
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales and penetrate new markets.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods specifically in hospitality
- Team player with solid motivation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be a strategic planner with creative thinking skills.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
