This position will be directly assisting in the overall administration and coordination of production. This position will be directly assisting in maintaining and enhancing the department’s critical deadlines in production and the management deadlines in administrative demands.
Essential Functions:
- Collect daily production reports, enter and postproduction
- Create and maintain accurate production entries for each department
- Communicate with the supervisors any discrepancies in production reporting
- Ensure the material used from production report matches BOM
- Analyze labor consumed at an operation vs labor estimated on router
- Verify WIP accuracy from the daily production report and/or from ERP system Work Center Report
- Validate outbound product matches customer order line in ERP
- Calculate employee daily, weekly and monthly efficiencies as well as departmental efficiencies
- Ensure project shop orders are current and revisions distributed to the proper areas along with shop order barcodes with department supervisor/leadman
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- Assist with Basic Safe entries (SOP, Risk Assessments, Near miss, first-aid)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 year experience in Inventory, Manufacturing, and/or Assembly
- Must know how to read a drawing/blueprint and Bill of Material
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Interpret a router on the job traveler/shop order and compare with drawing/blueprint
- Must maintain accurate records
- Must be detailed oriented and well organized
- Must communicate with other departments effectively
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (MS Office)
- Must speak, read and write English (bi-lingual a plus)
- Work overtime if necessary (this may include weekend work)
- Working knowledge of production processes (preferred)
- Working knowledge in IFS or ERP system(preferred)
- Working knowledge in ADP (preferred)
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. OT will be required as needed. This position sometimes requires weekend work.
