What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Security Analyst position at TPH Holdings LLC?
Job Duties
- Lead contact for internal and external security audits
- Responsible for conducting application account and role reviews
- Execute monthly email phishing simulations
- Active directory cleanup and organization
- Maintain IT asset inventory
- Primary contact for security related issues
- Monitor and respond to Managed Threat Detection alarms & investigations
- Monitor and respond to Microsoft Threat Protection alerts
- Maintain health of endpoint security systems (Microsoft Defender ATP, log collection, etc.)
- Research ways to improve security posture and propose plans for implementation
- Actively hunt for threats across the organization
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an IT security related role
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other IT discipline
- Security or Infrastructure related certifications
- Experience with routing and switching, VMware SDWAN, Microsoft security products, PaloAlto firewalls, VMware virtualization, Citrix Virtual Desktops
Experience
Required- 1 - 2 years: IT Security Related Role
Education
Required- High School or better
- Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field
