Job responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The AR Specialist is responsible for answering phones and assisting customers as well as light AR duties.
Key job responsibilities:
- Reviews Credit applications for accuracy and compliance
- Prepares documents in accordance with our risk guidelines for the management
- Creates and updates customer records as needed
- Manages access requests to the self-service portal
- Provides support to internal and external customers
- Pulls reports from various Government websites and credit report agencies
- Scans, fax, and mails documents as needed
- Maintains digital copies of customer records
- Actively support efforts to identify credit risk-related issues and communicates to management
- Performs other related duties as needed
Required qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- 2 years of clerical experience in accounting
- Proficient in using email and office equipment
- Basic knowledge of excel, outlook, and word
- High level of data entry accuracy
Physical Demands: To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, must be able to sit at computer for long periods of time. Occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
