What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational support position at TPH?
The Parts House Integrated Operational Support, (IOS) is a Parts Specialist working at the customer’s location. The primary objective is to provide our customer with parts operational support, looking up and insuring orders are placed for all mechanical parts, including outside buys, cores, and returns.
Key Job Responsibilities :
- The IOS will have ongoing communication with the customer’s staff to execute business functions and support.
- Provide support and manage The Parts House on site inventory.
- Order all parts as requested by the customer technicians and management.
- Receive and verify all deliveries from our servicing store.
- Mark up all Outside Purchases, defined as items not in The Parts House network, according to the Markup matrix provided, and will not deviate from this unless approval has been received from the TPH store manager.
- Develop and grow sales within the assigned customers.
- Maintain in-person and phone rapport with customers.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with account base.
- Effectively identify sales opportunities
- Maintain clear records in CRM.
- Conduct outbound phone calls within established sales protocol.
- Maintain contacts and sales reports.
Requirements :
- Minimum 1-3 years of auto parts experience
- Knowledge of auto parts or the automotive industry a plus
- Experience in Outside Sales, Inside Sales, or Account Management
- Valid driver's license and Insurance

Environmental / Occupational Health and Physical Requirements :
To perform the duties of this job the employee must have a clean driving record. The occasional heavy lifting of 30 lbs or more may be required.
