The Sales Coordinator for the Operations & Sales teams at Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers performs a broad range of administrative support tasks to ensure success for the departments and organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
Greet guests and visitors to the pre-opening office and Resort.
Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate official and places outgoing calls.
Provides administrative support to operations & sales and ensures the implementation of hotel policies, standards, and procedures as they apply to the administrative functions.
Schedule, coordinate and confirm meetings as needed and prepare and assemble related materials.
Prepares the relevant materials for all meetings attended by the operations & sales heads: Daily operations meeting, executive committee meetings, departmental meetings and ad hoc meetings.
Prepare for and assist the operations & sales teams with a variety of correspondence and reports and ensuring proper distribution.
Compose letters and memoranda and prepare reports using knowledge of work area instructions and guidelines.
Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests.
Transmit information or documents using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine. Operate standard office equipment other than computers.
Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word Microsoft Office / Office 365 applications.
Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, documents, etc.
Handles monthly requisition of general office supplies.
Support the sales team using the Delphi S&C / Amadeus platform entering leads, managing bookings, creating event orders & banquets checks, building resumes, and a variety of other tasks to ensure system compliance.
What you will bring:
A minimum of three years administrative experience, preferably in a hotel or Resort
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office / Office 365
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, virtually and in person.
