What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Summer Intern position at TRACE International, Inc.?
TRACE is seeking an enthusiastic, creative summer marketing Intern. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about the marketing landscape and eager to learn about various marketing strategies and concepts.
Duties will include the following:
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Research current market trends and analyze data from marketing campaigns
- Identify ways to improve marketing efforts - collaborate with team members to evaluate existing marketing strategies and propose enhancements
- Design marketing materials - contribute to creating promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, social media graphics, and advertisements.
- Social media - Assist in maintaining TRACE’s social media presence. This includes posting content, engaging with followers, and monitoring performance metrics.
- Write content - write newsletters, website copy, press releases, social media posts, etc.
- Assist with TRACE events, webinars, and podcast (e.g. identify and research speakers, draft bios, assist with programming agenda, signage, landing pages, etc.)
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Marketing, Business or similar field
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms
- Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
- Professional and reliable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a passion for marketing
- Outstanding multitasking abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects
The Position
- The pay is $22/hour; up to 40 hours per week for approximately 3 months. We are flexible on the start and end dates.
- This is a temporary, non-exempt position; it is not eligible for TRACE benefits.
- The candidate may work remotely or from our Annapolis, Maryland office (or hybrid)
