The Role
We are looking for an energetic, high performing digital marketer to own growth advertising for paid social, search, and other programmatic channels. This role will develop and implement rigorous test and learn processes to create a scalable, ROI positive high volume growth engine. They will manage budget across channels to strict targets, operating day to day campaign deployments and optimizations themselves and with our agency partners to continuously reduce CAC and drive scale. They will think about growth across the whole acquisition funnel, from ad click through first purchase, working with internal teams to optimize conversion.
The right candidate will have the ability to use data and customer understanding to drive decision-making throughout the whole campaign process, from creative brief through test and learn optimization. They will be customer centric in their approach and are excited to deliver a great overall experience to customers that engage with us throughout the new user journey. Responsibilities
- Ownership of user acquisition focused paid media strategy for paid social, search, and other programmatic channels to drive high volume, ROI positive growth
- Develop and implement a rigorous test and learn approach to paid media - including creative, message and offer testing - testing concepts at a high frequency while remaining true to brand guidelines
- Work cross-functionally to develop new landing pages, marketing content, and A/B tests with a clear understanding of our acquisition funnel, to increase sign up conversion and reduce CAC
- Manage budget across channels to strict targets, pulling various levers to reduce CAC
- Identify, test and scale new paid acquisition channels with an iterative, data driven, segmented approach
- Develop reporting on the efficacy of marketing efforts and spend
- Work closely with the Product org on driving improvements to key customer journeys related to sign up and purchase
- Work with analytics team to develop reporting on the efficacy of marketing efforts and spend
- Co-ownership of marketing calendar along with retention marketing, affiliate, product, and brand teams in service to creating scalable growth campaigns
Your Attributes
- 4 years experience in performance marketing including paid social, paid search, and other programmatic channels.
- You have a deep understanding of growth marketing metrics and concepts, including testing.
- You understand conversion funnels and how to work with product teams to optimize them for growth.
- You’re extremely data oriented. You possess a strong understanding of how to use customer data - segmentation, value drivers, etc - to drive decisions.
- You’ve started up channels from scratch and grew them to significant scale.
- You know how to develop creative, copy, message, and landing page testing programs that deploy tests at a high velocity. In addition, you understand conversion funnels and how to work with product teams to optimize them for growth.
- You operate with purpose. You have a track record of comfort with risk taking and tenacious approach to learning new domains.
