Job description
In this role, you will be supporting an industrial facility with maintenance/facilities-related duties below the level of a Maintenance Mechanic.
The role
- Keeping plant and other areas of the facility clean
- Light Maintenance
- Light carpentry
- Occasional painting at the plant
- Use of power tools and power painting equipment
- Trash removal
- Cleanup of lunch area, locker rooms, parking lots, and other maintenance related activities
The person
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous janitor/cleaning or maintenance experience is desired
- The ability to read, understand, and apply common operational documents, SOP’s
- The ability to apply basic mathematical concepts
- Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, are required
