About the Job:
The Operations Associate position is a very essential part of our operations in order to deliver a great experience to our members receiving their grails (coveted sneakers). As an Operations Associate, you are responsible for getting each package through our warehouse efficiently. Everyday you are expected to give your max effort in order to keep up in our fast paced environment. We understand that our members want their new sneakers in a reasonable amount of time. Therefore, it's our biggest priority to get them shipped out as fast as possible with the highest amount of quality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Scans, reads, and labels each package correctly in order to make sure the package is properly grouped
- Sort and group packages according to their date delivered
- Assist in quality control efforts for each sneaker verifying that there are no defects, wrong sizes, incorrect SKUs or missing accessories
- Take all required photos for each package that you receive and ensure that they are clear and of good quality
- Keep a clean work area
- Properly and neatly package each pair of outbound shoes
- Independently manage your role while being able to teach other associates
- Excellent time and priority management
- Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and controls
- Agility to adapt to different roles
Competencies:
- Must be able to work while standing for long periods and be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to problem solve and have a high level of attention to detail
- Must have a noticeably strong work ethic and can consistently work with a sense of urgency
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Must have a smart mobile device that allows for camera accessibility and wifi
- Flexible schedule with ability to work on off days, evenings and weekends, if necessary.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in sneaker retail
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, operations, or a similar environment.
