The Software Engineer II is responsible for assisting through various steps of the software development lifecycle, including analyzing needs and designing, testing and development software to address those needs.
Primary Responsibilities:

With considerable oversight and guidance, assist where needed throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from analyzing needs, to then designing, testing and developing software to meet business needs

Help document processes and procedures through the use of diagrams and flowcharts

Update existing codebases and peer review code changes

All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Basic Qualifications:

Fluent with front-end web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Understanding of web development fundamentals including HTTP, RESTful APIs.

Ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong analytical and reasoning skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Ability to visualize processes and outcomes

Ability to troubleshoot software issues and debug large databases

Previous experience working through the entire software development lifecycle

Bachelors Degree in engineering, computer science or related field
