Digital Content Creator / Marketing Associate

Traditions Performance Firearms®, a leader in the outdoor industry, is a firearms importer and manufacturer that specializes in muzzleloaders, black powder revolvers, centerfire rifles, single action revolvers, cannons, build it yourself kits, bullets, accessories, optics, and more. Traditions® Performance Firearms is looking for a Digital Content Creator / Marketing Associate to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and produce engaging and impactful digital content, including social media memes, Reels, YouTube videos, and other forms of multimedia and digital assets
• Create, edit, and produce high quality visual content using video and photo editing software.
• Work with media team to ensure all content is consistent with our brand and maintains the same quality and style across all channels while engaging audiences
• Stay current with trends in digital media and looks for new and innovative ways to grow our brand.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming and help to develop ideas for content
• Support Marketing Manager in additional needs such as social media, website, planning, press releases, etc.
• Position reports to Marketing Manager

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Proven experience as a digital content creator or a similar role
• Basic knowledge of firearms and the outdoor industry
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong experience and understanding of social media platforms and best practices
• Excellent creative and storytelling skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work independently or as a team member.
• Ability to adapt and provide fast response to changes.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Some travel required for content shoots, tradeshows, etc.
• 2 years of social media marketing experience required
• 2 years of photography and videography experience required
• 2 years of video editing experience required
• A BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field a plus
• Experience in the outdoor industry a plus
• Passion for hunting/shooting a plus
