Water Resources PM/Engineer

Ranked the overall #4 Best Civil Engineering Firm to Work for in the Nation (#1 in our size category), and residing on the list of the Engineering News Record (ENR)’s Top 500 Design Firms in the nation, TPD (Traffic Planning and Design, Inc.) is currently hiring a Civil Engineer for Stormwater & Hydraulic projects in NJ & PA.

Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with H&H design and applicable software applications. Projects will include a variety of land development site designs and other responsibilities will include research, coordination, project management, cost estimating, allowances for land disturbance and preparation of bid packages as well as technical specifications.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
  • Engineer in Training Certification (required)
  • Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation/AutoCAD)
  • Experience with detail site layout and grading; drainage and stormwater management design; utility design; and erosion and sediment control design
  • Experience with HEC-RAS HEC-HMS HECGEO-RAS and other industry accepted software and development of studies
  • Experience with NJDOT codes and regulations, interpreting plans, designing stormwater facilities, site grading and permitting for land development projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver’s License
