The Traffic Reconstruction & Transportation Compliance (TRTC) Opportunity
TRTC is seeking to fill a full-time Administrative/Legal Assistant position to join our growing team. The Administrative/Legal Assistant will assist TRTC’s Team in providing excellent administrative support to our office, while fostering team communication, cross-training for back-ups, and partnering with all members of our team to provide various support functions.

Our experts have vast backgrounds in the trucking industry, accident reconstruction, vehicle mechanics/defects, and local, state, and federal regulations.

What You'll Do as a TRTC Team Member
· Receive, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate parties, using a multi-line phone system.
· Handle multiple priorities and deadlines with exemplary follow through and confidentiality.
· Assists with scheduling and keeping an updated calendar; tracks and monitors dates and deadlines to ensure Experts stay on schedule.
· Perform a variety of administrative functions including typing of correspondence, reports, records, notes, and internal memos; draft letters and memos from rough notes or general instruction; composes original correspondence when necessary; receives, scans, and saves incoming mail; creates and maintains client files; closes and maintains client files.
· Exhibit foresight, proactively look for, and take initiative in recognizing potential problems, needs and/or inefficiencies, and pro-actively proposes alternative, creative, and innovative ways to best accomplish superior outcomes.
· Ensures meeting rooms are clean and set for upcoming meetings as requested.
· Provides support where needed, and when necessary.
· Provides back-up support for the TRTC Team and its sister companies, when needed.
· Tracks usage of conference rooms and meeting spaces for reporting purposes.
· Work with other administrative staff to assist in coordination of meetings and special projects.
· Perform other miscellaneous projects and duties as requested.
What You'll Bring to the TRTC Team
· Great attendance and presence in our office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
· Experience working in a professional administrative/legal assistant role.
· A strong understanding or the legal field/industry, court dates, deadlines, filings, etc.
· Experience performing business related duties and providing administrative support.
· Position requires ability to be attentive to urgent matters.
· Excellent verbal and written communications. Ability to summarize records, use accurate grammar, spelling, typing, data entry and calculations. Clear, confident, and friendly voice tone over phone and in person.
· Presentation of personal demeanor, which is professional, credible, mature, courteous, and gracious. Polished, yet personal, approach and style.
· Excellent organization skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, follow through on projects, work independently, and be self-directed. Work with little to no supervision or direction.
· Work quickly and efficiently with calm demeanor. Exude confidence in ability to handle all situations and requests. Use discretion and sound judgement on when to handle directly and what items require others’ input. Consideration and poise to interrupt meetings and working sessions to prioritize executive demands.
· Demonstrate willingness and positive attitude consistent with top level customer service.
· Anticipate needs of our Experts and the team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet research.
· Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, clients, and coworkers in a highly professional manner; the highest level of confidentiality must be exercised at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
