Responsibilities include:

• Process orders received via phone, fax, and email, and enter them into the system.
• Field customer questions and inquiries regarding order status, working closely with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Provide information to customers regarding products, pricing, and service, and refer more complex questions to appropriate staff.
• Perform daily cross-check of prior days order entry to identify and correct any errors.
• Prepare and process daily invoicing, bill of lading, and export papers as needed.
• Record and address customer complaints, issue credit memos, and reconcile customer credits and rebates.
• Prepare customer bids and renewals, and process freight claims for lost or damaged freight.
• Provide reporting as required, including daily sales report and AR tracking.
• Assist with general clerical duties such as sorting mail, filing, and updating customer files.
• Train as a backup on Amazon orders and EDI processes, and assist the Accounting Department as needed.

What you need to succeed:

• No degree required.
• Previous experience with order processing and customer service.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/SAP systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
