Job Summary:
The Finance Controller will be a key, strategic player in leading our Newberry, SC manufacturing location. This leader will partner with the Plant Manager and will oversee all finance functions for the location. The position is accountable for driving financials processes across the organization, creating collaborative thinking, as well as maintaining a culture of proactive compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage preparation of financial statements, forecasts, planning cycles on a monthly and annual basis.
- Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals.
- Monthly and Quarterly closings as per US GAAP.
- Monitor and report financial performance, analyze results, investigate variances and unusual items; and evaluate their effect on plant operations.
- Provide interpretation and analysis of financial reports and analysis to leadership to support decision-making actions.
- Lead/manage all costing and inventory, including annual standards process.
- Responsible for reviewing all capital and major expenditure items to ensure they are approved in accordance with established procedures.
- Oversee and maintain appropriate internal controls, including Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
- Liaison and reporting for external and internal audits.
- Review and validate plant productivity and inflation to ensure accuracy and connectivity with financial results.
- Support plant operations with analysis and reporting, which includes Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Actively participate in leadership team activities including MDI, Mission Control, RIE's, and VSA items.
- Participate in or lead other projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 5-8 years accounting/finance experience; cost accounting experience preferred.
- 5-10% travel required.
Key Competencies:
- Solid understanding of US GAAP.
- Firm foundation in cost accounting principles and practices.
- Good communication skills with ability to build strong relationships.
- Must be able to work independently, multi-task, and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to adapt to and drive change effectively.
- Excellent systems capabilities (Oracle, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Base Pay Range: $102,200-135,800, plus bonus
