High-level Scope of Job:
The Pension Benefits Analyst is responsible for conducting plan administration services to include benefit calculations and annual data updates in accordance to plan documents and government regulations. The Pension Benefit Analyst will also utilize Operational Excellence Lean tools and methodology to ensure quality output and service delivery; as well as, maintain a thorough understanding of the plan design (e.g. coverage levels, options, and eligibility guidelines).

This is a hybrid role with some work onsite in Davidson, NC with remote flexiblity as business needs provide.
In this role you will:
- Accurately prepare pension benefit calculations for multiple defined benefit plans. Collect, manipulate, reconcile and review manual data corrections.
- Function as subject matter expert for all pension benefit administration and technical systems as well as HRIS systems.
- Support all changes and updates in pension administration. Identify areas of opportunity and continuous process improvement.
- Work with legal when ambiguity in plan document and administration exists. Capture discrepancies, create standard document, and reference for historical knowledge.
- Comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure accurate updates to existing documentation based on enhancements made to existing processes.
- Support implementation of new pension technology by providing SME knowledge, testing, identifying issues and collaborating to find resolution.
- Provide additional support on special projects such as plan freezes, plant closings and other escalated tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree of equivelent experience in a related field (human resources, benefits, pension, 401k, etc)

Target Annual Base Compensation Range is $50,000 - $80,000
