Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and evaluating employees.
• This position will manage industrial wastewater, wastewater laboratory, and hauled waste control.
• The position will manage the Client's Water Pollution Control’s enforcement response plan, and environmental control section, ensuring quality and compliance.
• This position will partner with other Client's divisions, County health officials, industry associations, and federal and state agencies for regulatory and informational purposes.
• Review and approve inspection reports, administers violation notices, fines, and orders, and prepares written correspondence.
• This position will develop objectives, procedures, and compliance measures to meet Client's guidelines.
• Respond to Environmental Protection Agency on pollution control issues, preparing public notices and reviewing information in public notices and media releases.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Qualifications:  

• Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public agency; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of common inspection processes and regulations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, preferred.
