Job Description:
Trans-Bridge Tours, Inc. is currently seeking a Tour Director who will play a vital role in our Tour Department. The company is accepting applicants from those with a love for travel and people.
If you are a person who would like to get paid to travel for a day or a couple of days at a time, this is the position for you. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone retired who would like to earn a little extra money and have fun while doing it.
Responsibilities:
- One day prior to departure, review necessary paperwork, itinerary and obtain required supplies with Tour Planner.
- Day after tour completion, review tour, tour paperwork and detailed trip report with the Tour Planner.
- Review and coordinate times, pick up locations and other tour information with the assigned Motorcoach Driver.
- Meet and greet passengers upon departure.
- Make general announcements and keep passengers informed of tour itinerary and changes.
- Distribute tour information, answer questions and assist with passenger(s) special requests.
- Make payments on behalf of the Company.
- Dress in uniform, maintain a professional appearance and attitude and represent the Company in a positive manner.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work a seasonal schedule (March-December).
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Walking from place to place on tours.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
