What are the responsibilities and job description for the PS/Farm Team QA position at Trans Ova Genetics, L.C.?
Position Purpose: To provide a back-up to the Quality and Compliance Director as well as fulfill the role of the Quality Assurance program for farm areas and professional services
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a Quality Assurance program for farm areas
- Recips, Donors, Calf Site, Vet Services, PST/V
- Identify procedure and equipment risks
- Coordinate with managers for identification of qualifying Change Controls
- Location auditing
- IA, MD, TX-B, Yackley (SD), IN, OK, MO
- Understand how to analyze low pregnancy rates and occurrence of LOS
- Requires ability to work independently with team members throughout Trans Ova, record findings, follow-up, and report findings to director
- Requires ability to prioritize tasks and shift quickly as new tasks arise
- Requires the ability to learn and utilize the QT9 quality software (or other quality programs)
- Follow Trans Ova’s policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional image reflective of Trans Ova’s industry position
- Other areas/duties as assigned by the Quality and Compliance Director
Education Requirements:
Advanced degree is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Ability to travel. May require 25% or more of travel to TOG farms
- Able to handle stressful situations and/or individuals in a constructive manner
Other skills/experience:
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in either Quality Assurance or knowledge of the Trans Ova farm areas and system is a plus, but is not required
Salary : $44,500 - $56,300
